Whether your first client is in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, or Switzerland, we will first obtain a Belgian residence permit for you.
Why? Because Belgian citizenship is directly obtained after 5 years of presence in Europe. If your client is far from Belgium, we will detach you to the client’s territory from Belgium. You will pay your taxes in Belgium, and the clock will tick for you to obtain Belgian citizenship.
If the end client is in Belgium or very close to the Belgian border, then there will be no detachment; you will reside and work from Belgium.
You have obtained your visa D for Belgium; you will officially become a Belgian resident.
If you opt for entry by air, note that you must enter through a Belgian airport for the first trip to activate your Schengen visa in their customs database.
We recommend Ryanair, which offers low-cost flights connecting all major Moroccan cities to Charleroi and Brussels in Belgium.
If you choose a non-Belgian European airport, then you must enter by road via Ceuta or Mellilia, take the ferry, and then take a flight from Spain to your European destination.
These constraints apply only during the first entry into Schengen; once the visa is 100% active, you can fly directly to Europe from Morocco.
